Good letter from the club. Looking forward to watching my team today, singing where I sit , Payet, Lanzini and the new ones, I'll try not to be distracted by the ugly scenes behind the goals with 'true supporters that have been standing since before their grandparents were born'' being pulled out and banned for standing and being abusive. I'd rather a few get banned and the queuing 9,000 be let in. The club has made the effort to get an attractive football team to watch, that's my first priority. The rest is just a sideshow, sort yourselves and sing where you're sitting.

Think I must of had 4 or 5 of those from my time in the BML... all straight in the bin... in the end they just gave up... bloke at Work took his kid to the European game just gone... said it got very nasty in his section... stewards done absolutely fuck all and ended up with 5 heavy known faces having to get involved to calm it all down .... reckons it's gonna be a free for all once a few of the big boys hit town...

Got my letter about it today Real problem. When I was younger always stood. Old West Enclosure and North Bank for almost 40 years but now I think my standing days are over so I want to sit. G & S say they are sympathetic to having an all standing area at some point but won't that mean a complete re-organisation of season tickets and seating arrangements?

Interesting discussion on here, particulately the bit about Man Us own risk assessment which concluded that the most dangerous times that people stand in a ground is coming in, half time and leavibg, which are naturally deemed 'safe' by any local authority.

Everyone should bring the letter and make a paper aeroplane out of it and buzz it on the pitch. 10 points to hit the goalie from behind the goal although you'd need a throw like Steve Backley.
Best scribble your address out first mind.

What of the hypocrisy of letting the away fans stand? Are the home fans going to stay seated whilst they're cunted off in their own ground? Away fans threatened with a ban isn't a deterrent, is it? Man. U scenario..? Safe standing is the only option to minimise ag to both sides i.e. Fans & stadium share the seat swap link far and wide... Saw a lot of swaps from my block 102 which isn't a bad view though will be / is susceptible to standing being an end block... If I sit too long I get too lethargic to enjoy the occasion sometimes... anyone else?

Gold said sit down until we get the 60k safety cert.
I'm sure Brady would love every one sitting down in silence, as she fundamentally doesn't get the game.

To be honest, I fully expect massive changes in the next three games in regards to stewarding and how they deal with all of this. I reckon deep down Gold0 and Sullivan are probably sympathetic towards the standers, Brady though can fuck right off as she'll never understand it.
It's a funny one. Get their 60k licence and they simply won't give a fuck for the rest of the season, then it'll rear it's head again when they go for the 66k for next season.
For some reason I'm quite optimistic about tomorrow. First 3pm Saturday game, our best players back, hopefully some better stewarding and 3 points.

I agree with many that it feels like a different club and it will take a few seasons probably for many before it feels like home. I suppose it was to be expected with such a big move.
I assume the club will need the support to be gentrified to pay the higher future ticket prices which will inevitably come. One thing I am certain about is that there is massive demand due to the cheap ticket prices compared to other top London teams Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs and they don't care who comes along as they pay, preferably as much as possible.

Yeah, must be well difficult to identify the whole of the BML without the need for CCTV.

Bang on, if they have any sense at all the BML will be left alone. If they go in there mob handed I can see it turning nasty. Although as long as you don't get aggressive or start swearing they cant do fuck all. Expect them to start at the front and as soon as they get about 5 rows seated all the Stand up if you hate Tottenham chants will start.
The old United We Stand flag will be good in there tomorrow.
